In order to expand its portfolio of services, the American multinational company Dell agreed to purchase the computer security company SecureWorks.SecureWorks will serve as dell Services' security platform, and according to its president, Peer Altabef, they do not plan to acquire any other such company. "We never have to say about future acquisitions, but right now we're focused on SecureWorks, which will be our security platform going forward."
This acquisition joins other important ones that were presented recently, such as the purchase of McAfee by Intel, and of the security company ArcSight by Hewlett-Packard.
