The Information Security Observatory of INTECO publishes the results of the "Study on fraud through the Internet (2nd quarter of 2010)".
The period discussed in this document covers the months of April to June 2010. During this time, 3,519 surveys and 10,524 online analyses have been carried out monthly to the 4,500 teams that make up the panel.
The results obtained reveal that in the 2nd quarter of 2010 36.2% of users receive requests to visit a suspicious website, 29.7% who receive emails offering an unsolicited service, 23.2% claim to have received a false job offer and 20.3% have been the victim of a phishing attempt (receiving an email requesting user keys). But once again, having suffered an attempted fraud does not influence the trust placed in the purchase and electronic banking.
