It is known as "Secret SMS Replicator". It sends hidden copies of all messages issued and received by the terminal under control.
Google removed from Android Market, the app portal for the Android mobile operating system, an app that allowed you to spy on other people's phones.
The "Secret SMS Replicator" app belongs to developer DLP and was among the Android service's apps for about 18 hours, Europa Press reported.
The operation of the same requires entering the program in the terminal of another person and, from there, the application facilitates access to the information it has, including copies of all the messages received and sent from the phone subjected to espionage.
The developers emphasize that one of the main qualities of such an application is that it is invisible and its use is not detected.
According to Silicon Republic, Android Market decided to retire on the grounds that it conflicted with the company's privacy rules.
The creators considered creating a version for iPhone, but discarded the idea as they thought it would not pass the firm's tests.
The app has a Facebook group and can be purchased through other unofficial app portals, Europa Press reported.
