According to the latest reports, a new phishing scam has been detected and targeted at customers of PayPal, a system used to make payments and receive money over the Internet via e-cards.The fake e-mail sent to the members of this system, says that it is a notification from PayPal Inc, in which if the user does not renew the services in the mail immediately, it will be disabled and deleted.
The email says that the services that will be removed are those of the electronic card and the details of the user service, also ensures that the deadline to renew them was May 27, 2009.
The company pronounced itself recalling that the user could make purchases without revealing the card number and requested to send an e-mail to this address [email protected] in case someone has received this type of mail.
