Venezuela. Through an innovative audiovisual security system, the authorities intend to control and detect crimes, in addition to the recklessness of drivers on the streets of the metropolitan area of San Cristóbal. The system is based on satellite and wireless technology with video cameras located in strategic locations of the capital city. Responding to an invitation made by the director of the municipal police of San Cristóbal, Colonel Francisco Antonio Báez, the company of Integral Technology Services, based in Puerto la Cruz and Mérida, and with experience in facilities in other countries through agreements with transnational and governmental, offered information on the scope, in addition to the successes of this project that "would give a technological solution to the crime of insecurity and the insistent traffic infractions in San Cristóbal." The Mayor's Office of the capital and the Municipal Police showed receptivity for the contributions of the project, that would allow in the short term to control many criminal practices.
