Joining InfoComm and NSCA

United States. InfoComm, the global association of professional av events and NSCA, an association for the electronics industry for contracting systems, announced their alliance to consolidate the events of both industries. To begin with, 2008 NSCA Expo Systems Integration will be part of the InfoComm event to be held in Las Vegas from June 18 to 20.

Chuck Wilson, CEO of NSCA, said: "This is a great deal for our industry, which has been debated for less than 10 years. It is exciting to be able to tell the hundreds of exhibitors and attendees that both events will be together."  As part of further consolidation, InfoComm will be the title sponsor of the 2008 NSCA Business Conference. 

Jay Armand, president of InfoComm International, says that
"InfoComm welcomes the opportunity to host NSCA exhibitors and members and we have made plans with NSCA to combine the best of the NSCA Expo ™ Systems Integration into our show beginning in June 2008 in Las Vegas. "
 
In addition, NSCA TechWeek, the new InfoComm-sponsored event to launch next year, will feature education programs from NSCA University and infoComm Academy, which will include exhibitions and training for manufacturers.
