Chile. With a growing presence in the Chilean security market, HID Global will participate in the next edition of Sicur Latin America 2014 (October 15 to 17 in Santiago), where it will present a wide range of solutions for the public and corporate sector, accompanied by Sergio Mazzoni, Regional Sales Manager for Mercosur of the company.
Network Access Solutions, Credential Printers, Visitor Software and Contactless Desktop Readers (EMV) will be the main points of interest in the HID Global exhibition, solutions that are within reach of most budgets.
One example is the Fargo line of printers, which has several options for creating high-security custom ID cards in one step, such as the DTC1250e. The C50 printer also allows small and medium-sized businesses to print their own ID cards easily, quickly and at an affordable price.
On the other hand, companies and public entities are increasingly looking to know who enters their facilities, which is possible thanks to the technology offered by EDGE EVO Solo, a network access control solution suitable for entities that have a single entrance door through which between ten and hundreds of people circulate daily.
That institutions have control of entry to their facilities is one of the biggest concerns at a time when the security of people and property is a delicate point, especially in regions with high rates of violence or insecurity. According to Sergio Mazzoni, the main thing is to offer companies "secure and reliable identification solutions, where there is also a relationship of trust of the user with their supplier or manufacturer of their security devices".
He adds that currently in Chile there are successful facilities in recognized entities such as Codelco, the Entel Tower, the Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport and in various financial institutions in the country.
HID Global has been increasing its presence in the Southern Cone with its solutions for corporate security, and for Sergio Mazzoni, the Sicur fair is one of the most representative events in the region, where they can contact both integrators and distributors, as well as end users "with whom we have a good relationship, because they see us as a reference when it comes to advising them".
