Recognition of memberships and membership

altThere comes a time in the trajectory of companies when the same entrepreneurs see the need to make guild in their industry, they see the importance of working for common objectives that lead to the strengthening of their sector, but more than that, see the opportunity for the growth of their business.

Associations are institutions that channel precisely these desires, carry out a collective activity in a stable way with and by the companies in their field.

- Publicidad -

WINGS was created 15 years ago precisely in order to strengthen the work of the electronic security industry focused on the interests of several companies that not only wanted to improve the usefulness of their businesses but the recognition of a sector that is vital for Latin American society.

Therefore, we want to remind you of the importance of memberships and the value that "being a partner" generates for your company.

Why memberships are important. Why partner:

Apart from the benefits you can take advantage of by being a member, acquiring a membership constitutes a business strategy where your company through your affiliation shows that it uses good business practices and communicates that it enjoys a good reputation.

- Publicidad -

Being a partner of ALAS establishes an indication of reliability and representativeness for your company, leadership in business and implicit participation in the guild.

ALAS becomes for companies and companies a warehouse of information on current technological trends in the electronic security industry, market realities, behavior of the different sectors that shelter us in Latin America, business practices, among many other topics.

And all this is obtained in a collaborative work with the partner companies.

- Publicidad -

Belonging to ALAS indicates that your company is successful because it joins the best actions and has updated information that makes it be at the forefront, in addition to the recognition and reputation that is earned by the simple fact of saying "I am a partner of ALAS".

Consider membership as a marketing technique

- Get access to the WINGS partner database.

- Acquire more visitors to your website through ALAS websites

-Support WINGS certification courses and your brand positions

-Get special discounts on the purchase of stands at the main Security exhibitions with which ALAS has strategic agreements and publicize your business

-Let more people learn about your company and its activities by publishing free news and product/solution information in the WINGS virtual newsletter

Convince yourself that there are many advantages for your company by being a partner of ALAS. Feel your association as the institution that best represents your interests, as the entity that supports your company and that propels the work of the electronic security industry in Latin America and the Caribbean.

A fraternal greeting and best wishes for 2013 to be a successful year

Director of Communications, ALAS

We expand the academic offer of ALAS

During 2012 we talked about the intense year we had in activity and results, and the satisfaction that this gives us to continue working with more effort in 2013. Following the thread to that idea, we want to mention the three new courses that expand the academic offer of ALAS.

With the great support and assistance of the ALAS academic committee (made up of support and sales engineers from several of ALAS' corporate partner companies), we have added to the portfolio of professional training programs the courses of:

* TCP/IP Networks for Electronic Security

* Wireless Technologies for Electronic Security

* Control Room Operators

Of these three we have already launched two successfully. The control room operators course, which was taught to two very important end-user customers in Central America.

This is a course focused on the correct operation and management of emergency control and monitoring rooms (mainly electronic security) that every end user of security systems has installed on their premises.

It is a certification that complements the courses of theory and practice of areas such as Alarms, Access Control, CCTV and Fire Detection and Alarm, emphasizing the coordinated understanding of all these areas for a more effective operation and results.

TCP/IP Networks is a course that the partners were asking us for and which we launched on November 21 in Venezuela.

Already with the course in hand, the mission will now be to take it to the largest number of professionals who do not have knowledge of IP networks so that they begin to understand the technology that will support the transmission of data and communications in electronic security systems in the medium term.

According to data from most manufacturers, the electronic security industry in Latin America is the one with the lowest percentage of ip network knowledge penetration and, therefore, the one that experiences the lowest growth in IP technology applications, compared to the United States and Canada.

With the launch of this certification course, WINGS will promote the understanding of this technology to encourage its adoption and implementation.

And the Wireless Networks for Electronic Security is a course that we already have practically ready and that we will launch in the first months of 2013.

Focused on electronic security, the course teaches:

* How to choose the type of network and components for an area of electronic security

* How to install and configure WiFi wireless network

* How to configure security parameters for a reliable network,

* How to create integrated CCTV solutions with WiFi wireless networks

* How to diagnose and fix possible errors in the operation of the wireless network

These are three new offerings, great possibilities for e-security actors in the region to expand their knowledge.

Additional courses through which ALAS continues to fulfill its mission of improving the professional level of technicians and engineers who day by day install products, systems and services of our partners for the well-being of the societies in which they live and work.

The 2013 calendar, with these three new courses, plus the other 10 that ALAS already had available was published on the website and from there you can register to separate your place, participate, be certified and thus continue to accumulate level knowledge that quotes you even in a market that must be distinguished by extensive knowledge and its correct application.

New challenges for 2013

2012 was a year of particular work and progress. We closed 2012, with nearly 8,000 people trained throughout Latin America in areas of electronic security ranging from intrusion alarms, CCTV and access control, to perimeter security, fire detection and alarm, and project management.

We held the third edition of the ALAS Management Summit with very good results to make a better one in Miami on August 14 and 15; we held four Technological Meetings with the participation of a significant number of partners in each country we visited; we had more participation in the different exhibitions, fairs and industry events in the region and new companies joined and others ratified their spirit to remain partners.

2012 closed with many more challenges and details to improve this 2013: In own events, industry fairs, courses, memberships, new projects. We accept it, we face them and we are ready to continue in the immense and endless task of making the electronic security industry a better, more professional, with greater positioning and impact for the well-being of the societies we serve. Because security is the work of experts.
