Latin America. Alberto Álvarez is no longer the CEO of the Latin American Security Association – ALAS. This was confirmed through his LinkedIn account, where he was surprised by the decision taken by the association's board of directors, after 10 years of work.
"This decision took me by surprise. I thank all the members, colleagues, friends, allies and, especially, the staff of WINGS for accompanying me and helping me grow together with the Association all these years. Thank you."
For his part, Daniel Banda, member of the board of directors of ALAS, also expressed himself through his LinkedIn account, expressing his gratitude for Alberto's work, highlighting that he is "an example of a person, a fighter and friend, my dear Alberto Álvarez ends his cycle as CEO of ALAS. The list of acknowledgments for their work in these 10 years of effort would be endless."
An official pronouncement is expected from WINGS on this novelty.
