International. Dahua Technology launched a Smart Traffic Solution that seeks to offer the transport sector safer and more sustainable roads.
It is a new unit that integrates ANPR, violation detection, speed measurement, traffic flow monitoring, driver behavior analysis, and other smart features to meet the needs of effective traffic control in various scenarios.
Use of SPC, Glowlight, and other technologies
The SPC builds an optical model by modulating spectral channels while adding polarizers to capture violations inside a vehicle throughout the day.
This new development also includes an Advanced GS-CMOS image sensor and a high-performance AI processor, which integrates deep learning algorithms and enhances image effects using Darklight technology.
In addition, Radar & Vision Fusion (RVF) technology allows the entire trajectory of the vehicle to be viewed on a single screen. Traffic-related deep learning algorithms are used to capture vehicle metadata (e.g., ANPR, color, logo, model) and detect traffic violations (e.g., speeding, not wearing a seatbelt/helmet, running a red light, etc.), with a capture rate and accuracy rate of more than 99% and 98%, respectively.
Dahua's Smart Traffic Solution uses a Doppler radar that can cover 4, 6 and 8 lanes (customizable) and detect up to 128 targets with a speed range of 5-300 km/h and a speed measurement error of ± 2%.
Lower costs and emissions
Dahua's Intelligent Traffic solution also eliminates the need for intelligent servers and transmission devices, reducing the construction costs of guarding an intersection by at least 80%.
With a reduced number of devices required for traffic regulation, this solution can significantly reduce equipment and installation costs, while minimizing carbon emissions and carbon footprint.
