International. Alai Secure announced the appointment of Carlos Valenciano as the new Ceo replacing Javier Anaya, who leaves his position at the company after 16 years of management, in which he has managed to position it as a reference operator nationally and internationally.
Carlos joined the ranks of Alai Secure in July 2019 as VP of Sales Latam, leading the expansion of the telecommunications business in the region. This incorporation is due to the company's strategy of undertaking the internationalization of the firm in Latin America and the euro zone. Two years later it has managed to open operations in Colombia and Chile, and prepares its commercial launch in Peru by the end of 2021.
The executive has extensive experience, of more than 30 years, in the launch and management of projects in national and multinational technology companies, highly related to the management of critical communications, in sectors such as Private Security, where he has worked in some of the main reference companies in Spain such as Prosegur, Chillida Security Systems or Alarm Sector. In addition, he has worked as a business development of Smart Door Locks, in Tesa-Assa Abloy.
Carlos emphasizes that "it is an honor to take on this challenge. I am enthusiastic and committed to this great responsibility. Alai Secure is a benchmark in the sector, as an M2M/IoT operator, which enjoys a leading position in the markets in which it is operating -Spain and Latam-, the result of the work and effort of the entire Alai team in the last 16 years. The market situation in which we find ourselves – demanding this type of communications – represents a great opportunity for growth, in the countries in which we already operate, as well as in new countries, at a global level".
Regarding the keys to the company's success over the next few years, Carlos indicates that "we have the bases and foundations on which to continue the success story in the future: knowledge of the market, mastery of technology and a first-class human team. As a company we are assimilating the great growth experienced in the last decade, at the same time that we develop and consolidate our international expansion to the rest of the world, with new operations launched since 2019 in Colombia and Chile and, soon, in Peru".

His predecessor, Javier Anaya, has been at the helm of the company since its foundation in 2005 and has actively participated in the design and implementation of the company's internationalization strategy since 2018, in the Latam region. A trajectory marked by effort and a strong commitment to customers, and full of professional successes that have led him to position the company as the first M2M / IoT Operator in Telco Security in the market.
