Latin America. Axis Communications unveiled the new Axis Companion management software, a video surveillance solution optimized for small systems with up to 16 cameras, ideal for small businesses that need to monitor their facilities, personnel and equipment.
Axis Companion software is intuitive and easy to use: users quickly learn how to move around the system with minimal training. Alert notifications allow owners to be aware of any suspicious activity, and can be customized to suit the needs of each business.
The new software includes multi-user function with 3 different levels (Administrator, Operator and Spectator), so that each user has access to what they need. For example, it is possible to give full access to administrators and let other users only use features such as PTZ control and video playback.
In addition, Secure Remote Access technology allows users to access live video or recordings from a mobile device or PC without setting up the router or network. Thanks to the Axis Remote System Management system, it is possible to restart or update devices and manage user permissions without being physically on site.
