International. Princeton Identity, provider of the biometric security system, announced three new patents related to innovations in iris recognition technology.
The new patents include:
- Patent 10042994 for the validation of the right of access to an object.
- Patent 10025982 to collect and target marketing data and information based on iris identification.
- Patent 10038691 for Authorization of a Financial Transaction.
The new patents represent the application of Princeton Identity's unique approach to iris authentication in three very important market areas: access, commercialization, and financial transactions. Using the techniques described in these patents, Princeton Identity advances the application of iris identification and staff authentication much more broadly than physical security and represents the anticipated adoption of these technologies in a broader market.
"We are very excited that the USPTO has recognized the latest inventions and the team of biometric experts at Princeton Identity," said Mark Clifton, CEO of Princeton Identity. "With more than 11 proprietary technologies in our portfolio and many more pending, we continue to demonstrate our commitment to creating the most advanced and accurate solutions based on iris recognition to ensure accurate and convenient authentication of people and access to assets."
Quickly gaining recognition as a leader in advanced biometric security, Princeton Identity's technology is present at the world's busiest international airport, leading financial institutions, major universities, sports stadiums, and the largest U.S. manufacturing company. The company has deployments within the U.S. Department of Defense. And its identification software has been integrated into more than 90 million mobile devices in more than 120 countries.
