Mexico. The Yucatan Quality Award is a distinction granted by the Institute for Innovation, Quality and Competitiveness (INICC) of the State of Yucatan that aims to support the development of more competitive and cutting-edge quality and management models in state-of-the-art companies.
For SIASA, quality is the result of continuous effort. That is why since 2006 it has been certified under the ISO 9001 Standard – Quality Management System, with a scope to its Marketing and Customer Service processes. Since then the company has received two re-certifications, which shows its interest in maintaining a high level of quality in the services it offers to its customers, suppliers and collaborators.
As part of its focus on continuous improvement, at the end of 2012 the company made the decision to participate in the call for the Yucatan Quality Award. On July 24, 2013, in a ceremony held at the Government Palace, Mr. Fernando Loret de Mola, Commercial Director of SIASA received from the Governor of the State of Yucatan, Mr. Rolando Zapata Bello the recognition as the winner of the Yucatan Quality Award in the Commercial Sector Company category.
