01/02/2012. Police arrested two alleged thieves who were located thanks to the satellite locator, one of the cell phones they stole from a cleaning supplies business on División del Norte Avenue.
The alleged perpetrators violently assaulted the premises located in the Parque San Andrés neighborhood, kneaded the employees and seized the money from the sales, as well as two cell phones, and then fled in a car.
At a press conference, Rubén Martín Olvera, decentralized prosecutor of Investigation in Coyoacán of the Attorney General's Office of the Federal District (PGJDF), reported that the defendants locked their victims in the bathroom and fled in a Wine-colored Jetta-type vehicle.
During the presentation of the alleged criminals, he indicated that according to the background, after freeing himself, one of those affected informed the uniformed that his cell phone had a satellite locator, which helped locate the place where the device was located.
With the information obtained, those now detained, named Oscar Ocampo Granados and Héctor Martínez Jaramillo, were arrested at the corner of 5 de Mayo and Comonfort streets, Barrio de Santa Bárbara neighborhood, Iztapalapa delegation.
The prosecutor announced that Oscar Ocampo and Héctor Martínez, who has an entry to the South Preventive Prison for the crime of qualified robbery, will be admitted to the East Preventive Prison to face the criminal procedure.
