Panama. The Panama Canal now has new Infinova dome surveillance cameras, located on both sides of the sea crossing to monitor ships waiting their turn to cross each of the locks.This surveillance system will help the canal authorities to verify that all ships remain in their assigned waiting places, since in case of displacement due to the negligence of the crew, serious damage can be caused to both the locks and the sides of the channel and the equipment located there, thus facilitating the penalization of offenders.
Infinova's V1750A pressurized dome chambers were chosen for this task, thanks to the nitrogen atmosphere secured inside the dome with a steel frame, which offers the best protection of the device against contaminants and humidity in the environment.
