In the hectic corporate world it is easy to fall into the mistake of letting our knowledge rust. The lack of time, long journeys, incompatible schedules and many other reasons prevent us from undertaking a new academic challenge, but we also face every day the need to be aware of the latest updates that allow us to make sound decisions for our businesses.
Thinking precisely about this situation, the Association implemented about three years ago the ALAS Webinar, an update tool that allows compressing in a short time the topics of greatest interest to the security industry and that also adjust to the limited time of many of its professionals.
The ALAS Webinars are online academic spaces where for about 90 minutes an expert shares his knowledge with up to 500 attendees. Polls, chat, shared documents, among other tools, make Webinars a space of much interaction and pleasant for learning.
The panelists in charge of directing the Webinar are experts from the companies that are part of the ALAS corporate partners. To attend a Webinar it is only necessary to have an internet connection and learning arrangement.
During 2016 we have held five ALAS Webinars that reflect the great reception of these spaces. We received on average 630 registered and 245 attendees for each of them.
Video solutions and integrations with access control, RFID technologies, alarm systems, security regulations and best practices in cabling infrastructure are just some of the topics that have been addressed in the last Webinar.

The ALAS Management Summit, designed for decision makers
The ALAS 2016 Management Summit is approaching, two days of conferences and exhibition of products of the most outstanding brands in the Industry, in which attendees will have at their disposal an interesting program that will help them make better decisions in the companies they run.

The ALAS Management Summit is a great opportunity to strengthen the capacities of the leaders of the security companies of Latin America, because there will be people of different nationalities willing to establish businesses, for this, the spaces and speakers will provide the necessary tools to the attendees to realize them.
It is no secret that the Industry has an accelerated growth in the region, as the same experts in the field think, due to the contingencies and needs faced by Latin American cities in terms of security, therefore it is necessary that professionals prepare themselves in topics not only technological but in the way to face the changes and expand their companies.
