Latin America. Boon Edam Inc. announced the launch of a technical training program in Spanish designed to educate and certify its Distribution Channel Partners (DCPs) as well as security integrators in Latin America.
The technical training will focus on the installation, operation and maintenance of each of the products offered by Boon Edam Inc.
"The most intensive training will be face-to-face, four days, and will have an important practical component; will be offered at the Boon Edam factory in Lillington, North Carolina, where up to 25 people can be accommodated," said Zac Ellett, Technical Resources Manager for Training at Boon Edam Inc., who added that "This program includes a visit to the factory, a theoretical-practical plan that will be offered in the classroom, where we will work with teams from our spacious showroom. Factory trainings are held approximately two or three times a year and will be announced well in advance for those interested to register and organize the trip."
Ellett explained that registration in factory training is free and participating companies must cover the costs of transportation, lodging and travel expenses; Boon Edam Inc. will offer continental breakfast and lunch.
To complement the technical training program, several virtual seminars were designed, which will be available in Spanish in early 2015 and which are expected to be offered each month. Each webinar will focus on a specific Boon Edam product. Webinars are ideal for both product installers and end customers looking to stay up-to-date on the availability and features of the factory's new products. Currently, Boon Edam's Latino customers can request special seminars on the products of their choice at minimal cost.
Distribution partners will receive an online registration form to participate in future factory trainings as well as scheduled webinars. Interested individuals can also contact Boon Edam for more information.
With the aforementioned training program, Boon Edam seeks to strengthen its relationships with a growing and dynamic market, such as Latin America, so the company has begun to allocate more resources to offer training designed according to the characteristics and needs of the Latin market, which is increasingly relevant for the Dutch company.
Likewise, in collaboration with the Specialized Support area, Boon Edam is proud to offer its Advanced Customer Service program, which aims to provide technical and project management support to help from the beginning with the correct installation of the products.
Ellet concluded that this new program will benefit all distribution channels in Latin America and, in turn, all end users of Boon Edam products.
