Risk Management, Summit approach, but there will be more

altAt our flagship event this year, the ALAS Management Summit, the largest percentage of conferences will be focused on Risk Management.

After 3 years focused on management and management issues, management of work teams, motivation, among other topics, for 2013 it was decided to take a turn and focus attention on a topic of immense topicality for our industry, Risk Management.

With huge and increasingly diverse risks in rapidly changing areas, and often with reduced resources, we face the growing challenge of doing much more with less. And this reality has a direct impact on our entire industry. What is this impact, its repercussions:
*What scenarios will they promote.
*What will be necessary to face them.
*What will be the trends in the short and medium term.

All of these questions and more will be discussed at the Summit's two-day conferences, Aug. 14-15 at the Hilton Miami Down Town Hotel.

Conference - Risk management trends in the corporate field, what solutions are risk owners looking for?

The objective of this conference will be to present how new trends in risk management in the corporate environment are having an important impact on the type and classes of solutions sought by "risk owners" in organizations.

The conference will examine how the role of security chiefs and/or risk managers has evolved, to the point where they are asked not only to protect people, assets and operations, but also to take a role as business enablers, allowing their companies to take calculated risks, while reducing the resources available to the areas and departments in charge of doing so.

Finally, and based on these new functions and new challenges, and using examples and case studies, it will be appreciated how these "irrigation owners" seek solutions that adapt to the corporate reality they face, and how suppliers must adapt to understand these new realities and thus maximize business opportunities.
