There are exactly six months to go, during which we will work hard to make this year's Summit better than the previous ones. Nothing unusual, it is what everyone always seeks, to surpass themselves.

We continue to work for the industry
There are more and more purposes and goals that we want to fulfill to work for the electronic security industry in Latin America. And it is that when a new year begins, improvements are proposed and new objectives are projected, always looking for how to improve. That is why for 2012 we have a renewed board of directors, we have a very rich academic offer of certification courses, we will start the Technological Meetings in the region to create synergy between the partners and we continue to strengthen the presence in social networks to have more interaction with industry professionals.

We have renewed the Association's board of directors in an effort to add the experience of veteran executives to the direction and growth of the association.
The members of the board of directors who had been working for several years have been joined by managers of "corporate partners" companies, as well as the new president of ALAS Mexico.

The advantages of WINGS online courses
To have a wide range of courses and training programs for the Latin American Security industry, WINGS has three online courses available: Course for Monitoring Center Operators, Smart Cards and Structured Cabling.
These are three excellent online training programs, which complement the training portfolio for Latin American professionals.
The advantages of these virtual courses is that they can be done from the office, home or from wherever the participant wishes, using only a computer and an internet connection; flexibility in schedules and international validity and certification, among others.

ALAS Technology Meetings
On March 21 we started the ALAS Technological Meetings, in Bogotá with a very good balance in attendance of high-level executives and very good results.
The ALAS Technological Meetings are a space designed for WINGS partners and for interaction between entrepreneurs in the electronic security industry in the region.
The format of the event includes presentations by sponsors, three conferences on technology trends and current issues that are industry competition and of general interest and a lunch for all attendees.
