This closed-circuit traffic camera offers robust artificial intelligence (AI) to achieve the highest detection performance and the most reliable traffic data collection along intercity roads, from highways to tunnels, without sacrificing image resolution or data loss due to bandwidth issues.
Trafibot AI uses two brand-patented AI models developed from millions of images captured and collected around the world over the past 30 years. One model identifies and classifies fallen objects, while the other classifies vehicles, including unusual objects such as electric scooters and car transport trucks, along with vulnerable road users such as pedestrians and cyclists.
Combined with Teledyne's proprietary 3D global tracker FLIR, Trafibot AI features a greater ability to detect incidents within a scene. As vehicles enter its field of view, the camera anticipates the vehicle's speed and trajectory, even if tracked objects are obstructed or obscured by other vehicles, objects, or road infrastructure.
Trafibot AI can also detect sudden lane changes, driving too close, or wrong-way drivers, providing critical data to traffic managers to better manage safety incidents while also reducing false alarms.
Software Integration
The camera is designed to integrate with FLIR Cascade, a recently released software product that can collect and organize data from Trafibot AI, and provides a state-of-the-art intelligent incident filtering system to ensure that only relevant incidents are shown to the user. traffic operator. If an incident is detected, a short video of the scene in 4K resolution is flagged for immediate review by the traffic management team. Trafibot AI can further integrate with video management systems to provide live footage.
