Mexico. Prosegur Mexico shared some of its achievements aligned with global sustainability goals, such as that its employees have around 60 thousand hours in training in environmental sustainability, training in which it has made an investment of more than 10 million Mexican pesos.
According to the company, this is because they have aligned the corporate objectives of their parent company with the requirements of being a leader in the private security sector and have incorporated, with outstanding results, the social and ethical challenges towards their collaborators in their local operation.
A relevant fact is that Prosegur has about 3,000 employees in Mexico, and has assumed the commitments to generate stable and dignified sources of employment; contribute to the health, training and safety of their professional teams; and the regulatory compliance and good governance required by the country, as well as respect for human rights among its employees.
In this sense, Víctor Ghiglione, Director of Human Resources at Prosegur, said: "At Prosegur we believe in the need for our actions to have a positive impact, both on society in general and on our employees and in the communities in which we are present. We are a company of people who seek to create a motivating, egalitarian, diverse and inclusive work environment that favors meritocracy and promotes the commitment of its employees."
Prosegur's achievements in Mexico
• Reduce to only 11% the wage gap in pay between men and women, according to their position;
• Union representation, ensuring that employees have access to this in up to 86.7% of the total workforce, being the highest for all of Latin America, through 2 collective agreements in force.
• The training of more than 60,000 hours of training, 14,000 in human rights and 23,000 in occupational safety.
• Since the implementation of the training programs in the country, it has invested more than $10 million pesos.
• Prosegur University has achieved that 90% of employees receive face-to-face or online training annually aimed at their professional development.

Prosegur offers varied, multi-platform training that provides employees with adequate preparation to perform their duties, promote and achieve their professional development.
During 2022, the company worked proactively with its talent selection and loyalty processes, thanks to an improvement in internal professional performance evaluation protocols and an evolution of the process of active listening to the company's employees.
In parallel, Prosegur has continued to advance in a human and social itinerary with a focus on emerging social values, such as equal opportunities between women and men or the fight against any type of discrimination, among many others.
