International. Vivotek announced comprehensive end-to-end protection in its cybersecurity management solution under the "Security within Security" campaign strategy. The solution provides a robust shield that starts from the front network camera, network video recorder, and back-end video management software. This solution was shown at the last ISC West 2019.
Based on collaboration with Trend Micro, a cybersecurity solutions company, Vivotek's network cameras and video recorders are integrated with Trend Micro's anti-intrusion software with multi-layered protection, including brute force attack detection, intrusion detection and prevention, and instant damage control. Users can get the following cybersecurity management features with the latest versions of firmware updates, available from the end of April.
Advanced management in its self-developed video management software, VAST 2 includes instant alert notifications, which allow users to receive notifications automatically or manually, and the real-time cyber risk dashboard to easily identify types of cyber attacks. Last but not least, users can go one step further to filter attack logs based on different criteria, making it easier to find abnormal events in a large number of logs.
