United States. ISS- Intelligent Security Systems, provider of intelligent VMS and native analytics unveiled during ISC West its new facial recognition solution SecurOS FaceX.
FaceX offers the unique ability to accurately recognize people's faces from different camera angles with a host of specific facial features in various lighting conditions. The new native analytics solution is based on ISS's newly enhanced SecurOS v.10 Video Management System (VMS) platform, incorporating all of FaceX's functionality, including the ability to add and import files, perform searches, and more.
SecurOS FaceX sets a new benchmark in facial recognition analytics by dramatically expanding the ability to identify and match faces with greater versatility. Most notably, FaceX solves long-standing challenges for facial recognition related to camera viewing angles, facial expressions, and various lighting conditions, providing a much wider range of identity and authentication matches. FaceX compares captured images to databases of familiar people, or faces captured from video footage, expanding the use of facial recognition to search for people during developing events. Searches can also be performed with specific facial features against multiple watch lists and a virtually unlimited database of facial images. FaceX also supports multi-factor authentication for deployment with access control systems.
SecurOS FaceX also incorporates advanced neural network (ANN) technologies that enable a host of features and capabilities. In addition to expanding facial detection to include profile images, FaceX can clarify a database search based on specific facial features such as age, gender, and ethnicity, as well as hair color, the presence of facial hair, glasses, hats, and bald patches.
Additional features include: searches by photo or screenshot; searches for consecutive faces; integration with multiple watchlists; unlimited size of facial recognition database; multiple watchlists and database management capabilities; batch import of images into facial recognition databases; self-detection of redundant facial images; Centralized, distributable and scalable architecture; and image-based monitoring of captured faces and recognized faces. SecurOS ™ FaceX also provides detailed reports and metrics for aggregating data for forensic investigations.
