Latin America. Until a few years ago one of the main challenges for administrators and operators had been the management of systems and assets in Data Centers, however, service providers have worked in recent years to offer solutions that facilitate this process.
However, trends such as Cloud Computing, the growth of the Internet of Things (IoT) and the imminent arrival of 5G have presented new challenges for which data centers must prepare. Because of this, CommScope, together with Anixter and Netscout, presented during the past Datacenter Dynamics Peru some of its most recent innovations to face the future.
"Together with our partners Anixter and Netscout, we present a complete offer of solutions for copper and fiber optic network infrastructure, which will help keep your data center efficient and connected," said César Villar, Territory Sales Manager Peru & Chile at CommScope. "In addition, at our booth attendees were able to watch live a demo of our automated infrastructure management solution, imVision; while receiving information about the new X Controller, which provides improved performance with increased power for better management of the iPatch panel."
Managing connectivity in data centers and buildings has never been more critical, as the network today is tasked with supporting larger numbers of devices and delivering greater functionality at the same time. Therefore, for César Villar, the launch of the new AIM X Controller is a great step to make network administration processes more efficient, since it allows the implementation of AIM systems to be carried out more easily, while reducing the total cost of intelligence.
"Infrastructure trends such as convergence to IP devices and the growth of Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology have continued to drive the need for real-time management of the end-to-end physical layer. With the release of imVision's new X driver and System Manager v8.0 software, CommScope helps further simplify the deployment of some key applications in data centers and buildings."
In addition to this launch, during this edition of Datacenter Dynamics Peru 2018 customers and attendees could see other CommScope solutions focused on high-speed migration and connectivity in data centers, such as the Energized Fiber Optic System, FGS channeling systems and Ultra High Fiber Density Trays.
"In addition to the solutions we presented, those who visited us at the stand were able to talk and solve doubts directly with our FAE, RCDD/NTS Eng. Andrés Mariño and all the Channel Support staff. In the same way, we were sharing the experience we also have with the Netconnect portfolio (formerly AMP), to complement a need for Upper Mid-Range where the availability, robustness and reliability of its products prevail, occupying its already traditional first place of preferences in the Peruvian market, "said César Villar, Territory Sales Manager Peru & Chile at CommScope.
