Argentina. SoftGuard, one of the most comprehensive and innovative alarm monitoring software, continues to lead the way in terms of security. They recently implemented their comprehensive system for citizen protection in the Municipality of San Andrés de Giles in Argentina, which includes, in addition to the SoftGuard platform, the implementation of SmartPanics so that citizens can send alerts directly from their smartphones.
Under the mandate of the intendant Cdor. Carlos Javier Puglelli inaugurated on August 9 the municipal monitoring center of the Argentine town of San Andrés de Giles, located in the north of the Province of Buenos Aires, from which they will be supervising the entire municipality for the protection of the more than 24,000 inhabitants.
The modern building has state-of-the-art technology to coordinate security actions, offering neighbors prevention solutions for the entire community, with more than 90 cameras installed and operating in strategic points of the territory.
The municipality also began to implement the collaborative prevention system the global APP SmartPanics mainly as a measure against gender violence, offering residents to use their smartphone as a security device from which they can send emergency events or incidents directly to the monitoring center, adding audio and video.
Each citizen adds 1 more camera, so the current 90 will be able to reach 20,000 thanks to this APP.
This is a very important advance for the benefit of all Gilenses.
