Mexico. With the aim of strengthening its catalog of products for access control, Ingram Micro Mexico announced the integration of the CDVI brand into its portfolio. This union complements the current offer it provides to integrators of physical security and assistance solutions.
Elena Mendoza, manager of the Physical Security unit at Ingram Micro Mexico, explained that for a couple of years, the wholesaler has integrated different brands so that its channels have different options, are more specialized and obtain better profits.
He said that integrators who start selling the brand will also have access to Ingram Micro's value services such as: pre-sales, professional services, financing, logistics, among others.
Diego Ulloa, Sales Specialist, added that the wholesaler will have the availability of the portfolio with more than 15 products and also kits of packaged solutions that are easy to use for the user.
As a first step of this alliance, manufacturer and wholesaler will seek the development of channels. However, the channels that interest them are those that already work with physical security, but those that are focused on point of sale or digital signage could also be contemplated, being areas that complement each other and require specific solutions.
For her part, Montserrat Mares, regional manager of Sales Central Zone of CDVI, spoke of the online training, free and to be carried out biweekly, which the channel will be able to access to know the two categories of product that will be available with the wholesaler.
In this way, it is intended to reach access control solutions to markets such as: SMEs, retail, government, education, residential complexes, among others.
Mares explained that these solutions promise benefits such as: use of fewer resources, rapid implementation, does not require the forced use of a server, five-year warranty, among others.
