Latin America. Genetec, a technology provider of unified security, public protection, operations and business intelligence solutions, will introduce its new additions to Streamvault's line of turnkey security infrastructure solutions. Starting this fall, Streamvault will offer a wider selection of high-performance devices, workstations and storage options.
Streamvault security infrastructure appliances provide a turnkey experience for all types of facility sizes, whether the project requires a compact device for small sites, or the option of scalability with an enterprise-class device installation to mount them on racks. Each unit that is delivered has Genetec Security Center, the company's unified open architecture security platform, installed and tested. The line of turnkey network security infrastructure devices is a suitable solution for the education, corporate campus, transportation, stadium, and critical infrastructure applications sectors.
Both integrators and end users will benefit from reduced system complexity, robust and guaranteed performance, and reduced installation and maintenance times. Streamvault devices ship ready-to-use, providing an efficient delivery experience and technical support.
"With the increasing complexity of security systems, customers are increasingly asking for simplified project design and maintenance options," said Jean-Pierre Picard, Product Marketing Manager for Devices at Genetec. "By expanding Genetec's Stramvault portfolio, we can offer the convenience of a turnkey network device to customers of all sizes, from small installations to very large unified projects," added Picard.
Streamvault solutions are also designed with the latest in cybersecurity standards. Each unit is delivered strengthened to safeguard the security of security systems and the networks that support them from cyber threats. Genetec also provides frequent updates to help customers and system integrators protect drives already installed in the field from potential threats and vulnerabilities.
New offerings from Streamvault's lineup include: high-performance turnkey devices to be placed in racks that can scale up to 2000 cameras as well as workstations designed to play high-resolution videos without complications. There are also a variety of storage options available, including Direct Attached Storage (DAS), Network Attached Storage (NAS), and Storge Area Network (SAN). System architects will be able to work directly with Genetec's experts to design your security infrastructure with confidence and ensure both performance and storage requirements.
Streamvault's expanded lineup complements Genetec's existing lineup of all-in-one devices, and provides the same performance and unified experience that has made Genetec the only open-platform video management system (VMS) vendor to rank in the top 5* category for backend video surveillance equipment.
