In order to improve surveillance and security systems on the ground, the High Technology Corporation for Defense, Codaltec, developed the state-of-the-art system, SINDER (Surface Intrusion Detection Radar) or Surface Surveillance Radar, designed to detect remotely manned vehicles, people and aircraft, commonly known as drones, with a 24/7 operation, capable of working in all types of environment: rain, fog, snow and hail, among others.
SINDER is a line of high-resolution radars, with solid-state transmission technology. It is designed to contribute to the fulfillment of security needs in terms of border surveillance, protection of critical infrastructure and control of land areas (airport runway traffic among others).
At the moment the reference is composed of the SINDER-MR (Medium Range) up to 5 kilometers of range, and the SINDER-LR, (Long Range) up to 12 kilometers.
