International. No smoke without fire: Bosch cameras keep an eye on the treetops of Poland's Czarne forests.
As "lungs of the Earth", forests play the crucial role in cleaning up the ever-increasing emissions produced by industry. Once a wildfire starts, response time is vital to controlling it. Unfortunately, such flames are usually detected only once they have already spread over a large area. To ensure accurate smoke detection, forest inspection of Poland's densely forested Czarne Człuchowskie region turned to Bosch for its modern IP-based cameras.
360º situational awareness
Thanks to its 360º rotating support and 290º tilt control, two Bosch MIC IP 7000 cameras are all that is needed to completely cover the region of 25,000 hectares of forest to detect fire signals. Both cameras display clear images along with precise coordinates. Once smoke is detected by surveillance personnel, a 30x optical zoom lens allows confirmation of a fire. This ensures an accurate response to a fire, which limits the damage greatly.
