Mexico. Westcon-Comstor Collaboration, Networks and Data Centers, announced that Pamela Ramos Nieves has been appointed as the new Director of Comstor in Mexico.
Jorge Tsuchiya, Managing Director of Westcon-Comtor in Mexico, said: "We are very happy with Pamela's promotion because her magnificent relationship with the manufacturer and with our partners will lead her to consolidate ourselves as Cisco's No. 1 Distributor."
Ramos joined Comstor more than five years ago, his previous position being that of Sales Manager where he achieved the position as one of the most important Cisco distributors in the country. His experience comes from the logistics world at APL Mexico. Both positions gave him the leadership skills and key knowledge for the expansion of the company.
The objectives that mark Ramos' strategy as the new Director of Comstor Mexico are:
- Consolidate the company as Cisco's No. 1 Distributor in the short term.
- Develop strategies focused on customer service, since it is the partners who make Comstor a strong Cisco distributor.
- Strengthen initiatives that offer added value to the channel to continue growing your business.
- Develop and strengthen the strategy in architectures, mainly in Security and Data Center.
- Continue with the development of the Commercial, Enterprise and Public Sector segments, which ensure new business opportunities in these categories.
On the strategy for segments Pamela Ramos highlighted: "Comstor is a company that adapts quickly to changes in the market, that is why in addition to working focused on architectures, we realized that we also needed to serve segments (Commercial, Enterprise and Public Sector), a strategy that Comstor has applied successfully and gradually, starting with Public Sector in 2015, Commercial in September 2016 and Enterprise in March of this year."
It is worth mentioning that Ramos has a degree in International Trade from the ITESM (Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey) Campus Estado de México. He has a Diploma in Management Skills from ITAM (Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México) in Mexico City; and is currently studying the Diploma in ICAMI, a subsidiary of IPADE.
