Mexico. Christie announced his participation for the first time in Expo Seguridad Mexico, the largest security fair in Latin America that will take place until March 16, 2017 at the Citibanamex Center in Mexico City.
At its stand, Christie will simulate a real-time monitoring center with its specific solutions for this market, including video walls, software and content management processors.
"Expo Seguridad is a great showcase to showcase our robust and professional solutions for monitoring and visualization centers," says Ernesto Armus, general manager of Christie Mexico. "We are going to bring to this fair the global solution offered by Christie with the quality and critical performance that these types of applications need," he adds.
Christie will show at Expo Seguridad its brand new family of LCD panels for videowalls of the Extreme Series. Specifically, at the Christie stand you can see a videowall solution with a 2x2 configuration of the Christie FHD553-XE panels of 55 inches and ultra-narrow bezel of 1.8 millimeters.
The extremely thin bezel of the Extreme Series makes it the perfect solution for control and surveillance installations. With an advanced panel homogeneity, the brightness and color of each panel are pre-calibrated, thus eliminating the typical image settings usual in the installation of videowalls. In addition, its Smart Light Control allows you to automatically adjust each panel to achieve total uniformity throughout the videowall and throughout the life of the product.
Christie's stand at Expo Seguridad will also exhibit another video wall with a 2x2 configuration of Christie FHD462-X LCD panels. This 46-inch panel has an extra-thin bezel of 3.7 millimeters and depth of only 3 inches. With its LED backlight and high pixel density that makes it possible to view clearer, more realistic images from any distance, the Christie FHD462-X delivers the brightness and sharpness needed indoors.
Driving the content of Christie's entire booth will be christie Phoenix's™ open-source content management system that offers 24/7 monitoring and networked content management and sharing, ideal for fast-paced command and control centers with highly mobile and dispersed workforces. The Christie Phoenix Quad-T will also be used, expanding the Christie Phoenix's data monitoring capabilities by expanding its input capacity with four HDMI connectors capable of resolutions up to 3840x2160 (4K/UHD).
Christie has a broad base of outstanding projects in the security market in Mexico, with emblematic facilities such as the Intelligence Center of the Ministry of Public Security in the capital of the country. "It is a sector that is growing year after year and that is becoming an increasingly important business factor for Christie, so we are evolving with products according to the current needs of our customers in this sector," concludes Ernesto Armus.
