Latin America. ISTC CORP, a company dedicated to the sale of electronic security solutions for Latin America and the Caribbean, announced a few days ago the launch of its new ECOS educational program.
ECOS - Security Oriented Continuing Education - aims to provide its customers, especially integrators, with knowledge for the growth of their businesses. This program consists of three levels, in which 6 learning modules will be taught, two modules per level. This year, the Fire Detection course for Central America, Mexico and Colombia will be working. It is expected that in 2017 the courses of Access Control, Automation and Video Surveillance that the company has been developing will be available for the different regions.
The experience of more than 21 years in the market at the Latin American level has allowed ISTC to identify the needs of its clients, the main one being to bridge the gap between basic knowledge and specialized training that is required for the mastery of a technology. ECOS closes this gap by allowing professionals in the area of security to review projects with well-structured arguments and foundations in the different lines of security such as: Access Control, Fire Detection, Video Surveillance Systems, Data Infrastructures, among others.
"We have great expectations with this project, from the beginning of the creation process we knew that a structured learning program like ECOS is what was needed within the industry and we did not think twice, we have worked hard to offer our clients only the best, it is a very complete program" - Nathalie Bernal, Marketing Manager of ISTC Corp.
Continuing education courses under the ECOS platform have been structured so that they cover topics of basic concepts, design and use of standards for device localization, power calculations and practical examples that lead the participant to understand the areas of knowledge involved in a specific electronic security line.
"Although the program was designed for and towards our base of integrators, with an adequate cost that guarantees the participation and development of the 6 modules, we have found a lot of interest in participating from consultants, security managers and end users who are responsible for structuring security projects. It is the leadership, experience and knowledge that allows us to create this type of education programs'' - Rafael Meza, Director of Sales and Marketing.
Registration for the first ECOS course on Fire Detection is now open for Central America and Mexico. The duration of the course is three months and has a value of $ 300 dollars for the six modules. All modules have been evaluated by the ISTC engineering group who are certified in the most recognized brands in the market. Additionally, the content development process has been reviewed by ISTC's Sales Directors, Mauricio Arriola and Rafael Meza. Together with the Marketing Department, they bring an innovative concept of learning for all those who have the interest of educating themselves in the area of security.
