Mexico. Axis Communications updates its AXIS Camera Station S10 Recorder Series. The new AXIS S1048 MkII, AXIS S1032 MkII and AXIS S1016 MkII offer more storage space allowing for longer recording time and easy expansion of your memory capacities to suit the requirements of 4K Ultra HD videos. Axis Zipstream compression technology reduces memory needs by an average of at least 50% without sacrificing important details. AXIS S10 MkII network video recorders are ideal for video surveillance of medium-sized manufacturing, educational, commercial or government facilities.

AXIS S10 MkII network video recorders have software installed that includes all the video management features of AXIS Camera Station 5 (VMS) and are therefore compatible with Axis cameras and other brands. They also recognize other Axis security solutions such as video door entry systems for easy identification, remote input control or speakers for remote communication in video surveillance applications. The user interface of axis Camera Station 5 was designed for easy and intuitive use. Its "operator mode" allows efficient control of the system both by occasional users and by those who are more active.
AXIS Camera Station S10 MkII Recorder series includes the following models:
- AXIS S1016 MkII, workstation-type model with capacity for 16-32 video channels and 8 TB storage space
- AXIS S1032 MkII, rack server-type model with capacity for 32-48 video channels and 12 TB storage space
- AXIS S1048 MkII, rack server-like model with capacity for 48-64 video channels and 20 TB storage space
- AXIS S9001 MkII, tiny new Small Form Factor (SFF) workstation-type model with capability for 4K Ultra HD video streaming and two monitors
- AXIS S9002, workstation-type model capable of streaming video up to three 4K Ultra HD and four monitors
The new AXIS Camera Station S10 MkII Recorder series cameras will be available from the second quarter of 2016 on Axis' traditional distribution channels.
