Andrés Macías Valadez will lead Mexico and Central America

Mexico. 2015 was a year of extraordinary growth for Avigilon in Mexico and Central America. Its portfolio of open solutions of video in high definition, access control and video analysis with self-learning have been very well received and to date it has a presence in airports in central, pacific and southeast Mexico, important retail chains, banks, prisons, citizen video surveillance systems, stadiums, to mention some facilities.

To strengthen Avigilon's commercial presence in the area, Andrés Macías Valadez has recently been appointed as Avigilon's Regional Sales Director for Mexico and Central America. With 15 years of leadership experience in the security industry, Andrés brings extensive market knowledge and excellent relationships with integrators and end users, from a sales and operations standpoint. 

Prior to joining Avigilon, Andrés was a physical security consultant for 360 Technologies and held various positions at Anixter de Mexico, including physical security consultant and marketing director. Andrés studied mechanical and electrical engineering at universidad Iberamericana, is also an expert public speaker and media relations manager.

Commenting on joining the Avigilon team for the region, Andrés commented: "I am extremely pleased to join a company with Avigilon's drive, dynamism and cutting-edge technology. Their solutions are very well received in the market and we will work intensively to further strengthen the commercial work done by regional sales managers and bring the benefits of Avigilon solutions to more end users."
