The Secretary of Citizen Security, Mauricio Franco said that the program of the National Government from the Ministry of the Interior, has strengthened the work of the National Police and its achievements, but that the entire installation and investment process needs to be completed.
He said that "this measure has been favorable to neutralize crime, as well as to stop robberies and others. We remain concerned about motorcycle theft and some homicide cases," the official said.
Recently that city was the epicenter of the implementation of a strategic security plan of the Government to strengthen the surveillance of cities through technology, benefiting from 309 teams.
In the coming hours, the visit of the secretary general of the Ministry of the Interior, responsible for the coordination and oversight of the system that has been launched, is expected.
