Pelco by Schneider Electric announced today that it has teamed up with the Video Intelligence Agent (Agent Vi) to integrate the Pelco VideoXpert video management platform with Savvi, Agent Vi's video analytics platform – a union that literally extends the performance and functionality of the already powerful VideoXpert VMS.
The integration enables Savvi's full range of analytics capabilities in each camera connected to the surveillance system via VideoXpert. In addition, a deep integration with the VideoXpert Ops Center client also allows the management of events and detections in real time, as well as alerts. This includes event notification, simplified setup, triggered recording, and more.
"The VideoXpert VMS platform is the ultimate solution for primary capture and real-time review and recorded video, as well as multi-system information," said John Raudabaugh, Senior Product Integration Manager, Pelco by Schneider Electric. "We are very pleased to be working with Agent Vi and the video analytics capabilities extended to its tools which contribute to the VideoXpert functionality," he said.
