International. Arecont Vision is introducing the next generation of surround-sensor all-in-one panoramic cameras from SurroundVideo.
New models include 5 MP SurroundVideo G5 with Stellar (Spatio Temporal Low Light Architecture) technology and remote focus p-iris lenses. The two small and standard form factor versions of the 12 MP and 20 MP SurroundVideo G5 cameras have also been incorporated, each with twice the speed of the previous models. This is the fifth generation in the company's multi-sensor panoramic camera systems.
The SurroundVideo G5 series of cameras provides superior coverage over large 180° and 360° areas, and great economic benefits. "Panoramic cameras with megapixel resolution and multiple sensors continue to gain traction as the best choice in wide area surveillance as a result of their unprecedented performance, reliability and price efficiency," said Brad Donaldson, Director of Product Management at Arecont Vision®. "With the addition of remote focus p-iris lenses and the ability to deliver twice the frame rate over previous models, Arecont Vision® continues to be the leader in multi-sensor surveillance technology."
SurroundVideo G5's new 5MP panoramic camera comes with Stellar's low-light technology for color images in extreme low-light conditions. The camera features a high frame rate while P-iris lenses optimize iris position to capture a better image and remote focus simplifies setup and adjustments.
Enhancements to surroundvideo G5 panoramic cameras include standard form factor models with the option to use the WDR function with 12 MP resolution to capture useful videos in scenes with high light contrast. The standard form factor model comes with P-iris lenses, remote focus, and twice the frame rate of previous models.
Arecont Vision's new small form factor SurroundVideo® G5 mini cameras offer more resolution options. The 12 MP models offer options for WDR, and both the 12 MP and 20 MP models have twice the frame rate of previous models.
Additional highlights included in SurroundVideo® G5's megapixel-resolution panoramic cameras are dual H.264 (MPEG-4 Part 10) and MJPEG encoders, privacy mask and prolonged motion detection with 1024 zones per channel. The 12 MP and 20 MP models offer pixel clustering for increased sensitivity in low-light applications. SurroundVideo G5 cameras also feature an ECO-friendly IP66 rating housing and an impact-resistant IK-10 rated polycarbonate dome. The new black gimbal features improved aesthetics.
