Latin America. Samsung Techwin Latin America presents to the market its line of four cameras of five (5) megapixels, which includes wide-angle fisheye models and anti-vandalism domes, which offer the highest color image quality even in low light conditions.
These are the SNB-8000, SNV-8080, SNF-8010 and SNF-8010VM cameras. The first two are box and dome cameras that have great capacity to transmit color images in Full HD (1920x1080), with a minimum illumination of 0.1 Lux, and in black and white at 0.01 Lux, the lowest lighting that a camera can capture on the market.
In turn, the fisheye SNF-8010 and SNF-8010VM cameras capture high-resolution images in 360° with their wide-angle lens, with the best low-light performance among all cameras of this type on the market, capturing color images in 0.2 Lux in color and 0.02 Lux in black and white.
Alex Pazos, Director of Business Development of Samsung Techwin Latin America assures that these cameras are suitable for "any security and video surveillance solution, in all vertical markets. The main benefit is that it provides much more information (pixels) and details in both the live streamed and recorded video." It also highlights that they are more effective in applications that include plate recognition, by reducing false readings.
It should be noted that fisheye cameras have five image display modes: 360 degrees, which shows an image that covers most of a medium-sized enclosure; Single Panorama and Double Panorama, which allow you to view images in 180°; Quad View, which displays four images on the same screen and the simple rectangle, as shown in a traditional camera.
The five-megapixel (5 MP) series of cameras is available in Latin America and also offers the possibility of integrating with any VMS available on the market, thanks to Samsung's Sunapi interface.
