Latin America. Samsung Techwin Latin America, a leading global supplier of video surveillance and security products, presented to the market the new SNP-5430H dome PTZ cameras, which is characterized by its powerful 43X optical zoom, the only one of its kind in the CCTV camera market, and a resolution of 1.3 megapixels.
It also introduced the SNP-6320RH IR dome PTZ camera, which offers total sharpness in completely dark environments at distances of up to 150 meters. Both devices offer maximum performance in urban security solutions.
The SNP-5430H are IP cameras capable of transmitting video with HD resolution (1280x1024), with the most widespread zoom available on the market and high sensitivity to low light conditions, capable of transmitting sharp images with only 0.01 Lux.
For its part, the SNP-6320RH IR has a zoom of 32x to 2 megapixels, transmits in Full HD resolution (1920x1080) and its most outstanding feature is the ability to transmit clear images over long distances and in 0 Lux environments, thanks to its powerful infrared lighting.
Both cameras also have Samsung's special features, such as self-tracking and intelligent video analysis, as well as having protection for outdoor installations (IP66) and resistance to impacts and acts of vandalism (IK10).
"These PTZ cameras offer greater performance and value for urban security solutions and are an important support to increase security in Latin American cities," said Alex Pazos, Director of Business Development for Latin America at Samsung Techwin. Pazos also stressed that the cameras have versions for interiors, which can be installed in banks or SMEs, as well as for exteriors, special for transport and logistics facilities or citizen surveillance.
"PDZs have an open integration approach and ONVIF certification. This means that they are compatible with the most popular video management systems (VMS) on the market using Samsung's API (SUNAPI)," he explained. All versions of these cameras are available throughout Latin America.
