Latin America. Tyco Security Products announced the launch in Latin America of the Impassa solution, integrated with Alarm.com services, with Colombia and Chile being the first markets where it will be available.
Now the combination of world-class interactive hardware with innovative interactive services is available in the Impassa series. Alarm.com is the leading provider of technology for connected homes, with more than 1 million residential installations. The company's highly configurable services include interactive security, video monitoring, power management and home automation, all of which are now available through DSC's Impassa series alarm panels.
The launch in Latin America follows the alliance with Alarm.com in North America, announced in early 2014. By next year Tyco Security Products expects to roll out the offering to select other hybrid systems in several global markets.
