International. Kantech, which is part of Tyco's (NYSE: TYC) Tyco Security Products business unit, announces the launch of the Intevo integrated security platform, which now includes the latest version of exacqVision video management software (VMS).
Intevo is a platform designed for small and medium-sized businesses to unify access control, IP video and intrusion detection, seamlessly integrating Kantech's EntraPass security management software with exacqVision's VMS software on a single platform. Intevo unifies DSC and MAXSYS PowerSeries panels natively, offering users the ease of automatic installation.
"With the transition to Exacq software, Intevo offers its customers powerful exacqVision VMS features, such as faster and more intuitive video search functions, all as part of a unified, easy-to-implement security platform," said Luis Delcampo, Tyco Security Products Marketing Manager for Latin America.
The exacqVision software features the SpeedSearch function, whereby video frames are automatically displayed on the screen when performing a search and progress as the cursor moves through the timeline. Users can also initiate an investigation while video is still being downloaded, allowing faster access to the necessary evidence, specifically for low-bandwidth connections.
Intevo has been optimized for use with American Dynamics' Illustra series HD cameras, supporting the connection of up to 32 IP cameras per system. With exacqVision software, Intevo supports more than 2,000 IP camera models from various manufacturers, including fisheye/panoramic models with distortion correction from the Exacq client application.
The Intevo platform comes preloaded with the latest version of the EntraPass security management software, Kantech Corporate Edition, which supports the EntraPass Web remote user platform and the EntraPass Go mobile application, 100% ready to be used without the need for additional installation. EntraPass enables users to view, manage and play video linked to access control events. It also allows them to perform daily access control functions such as locking and unlocking doors.
