Brazil. HID Global announced that its access control products, together with the access solutions of its parent company ASSA ABLOY, are being used, in different applications, in six of the 12 stadiums in Brazil that will currently and until July 13, 2014 be the scenes of the matches of the FIFA World Cup 2014TM.

PRODUCTS from HID Global and ASSA ABLOY are being used in new stadiums in Fortaleza, Natal, Recife, Curitiba and Brasilia, as well as in the legendary Maracana stadium in Rio de Janeiro, where the World Cup final will be played on July 13, and the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2016 Olympic Games will take place. Likewise, recently, the products of both companies were installed in the Arena do Grêmio stadium in Puerto Alegre and in the Allianz Parque stadium (formerly known as the Palestra Itália Arena) in Sao Paulo.
