IPS SeriesToshiba introduced the new IPS Series, designed to support video encoders and network cameras. This model is made up of a solid video surveillance network base with a 3U chassis to take up less space. It is designed to record in resolution by megapixels and up to 30 PPS per camera, which can be connected either locally or from remote locations over the Internet.
IPS allows the user to define the settings for each of the 32 IP cameras it can support, including resolution, motion detection, alarm logging and fragments per second over 30 per camera.
In addition, PAN/TILT/ZOOM cameras can be remotely controlled by the IPS, giving versatility to the surveillance operation.
