A gala that rewarded the best

In a night of celebration attended by the main players in the industry, the "Excelencia México 2010 Awards" were presented, within the framework of Expo Seguridad México.

The magazine VENTAS DE SEGURIDAD was recognized as one of the outstanding media and that collaborated with the massification of the show. Max Jaramillo, president of Latin Press Inc., the publication's publishing house, received the award.

At the ceremony, George Fletcher, Giprex's director of business development, made a special mention for Mission 500 and also auctioned off an iPad, which was purchased for $1500, money that will be given to the foundation.

It should be noted that Lucy Rivero (pictured), general director of Inalarm, thanked the organization for the award and made a special mention to its working group. Max Jaramillo presented the award for best manufacturer for Bosch.

After the award ceremony, the night ended with a party set by a musical band in which the special guests enjoyed.

Expo Seguridad Mexico met expectations

The atmosphere at Expo Seguridad México 2010 is of total pleasure because the expectations in this edition were satisfied thanks to the large capacity of the public that was present during the three days of the show in Mexico City.

George Fletcher, Director of Business Development at Giprex, spoke to SECURITY SALES about the balance sheet of this year's show. In the first instance he commented that many of the companies that were present were pleased by the influx of public: "Although we still do not have the official figures we know that this edition was a success and so I have been made aware by many of the exhibitors who are at the fair, who told me that they did not have how to serve so many people and that their brochures were sold out. "

About Mission 500, the executive spoke of the satisfaction of the duty fulfilled and said that they are going for a good step with this initiative. "The beauty of this cause is that the security industry can join it, there are even customers who have already shown their concern for this cause and I think it is very rewarding to do things of this type."

In 2011 the edition will be held between 12 and 14 April.

TSN is one of the companies that is present at the 2010 edition of Expo Seguridad México. The Mexican firm presents on this occasion a variety of products that are divided by segments according to the different needs of the consumer.

On the current state of the Mexican market, Jorge Del Bosque, representative of TSN, said that the industry in that country has grown around 5% compared to 2009 and added with respect to the fair that "we have been surprised by the number of people who have visited us, I think it exceeded all our expectations. The first day was quite busy and very productive, we were able to present our new products to a lot of people in the industry."

With optimism the Fair began

The doors of the Banamex Center in Mexico City were opened to the public after a presentation attended by important industry figures of the Latin American nation, to give way to the 2010 version of Expo Seguridad Mexico.

With the words of Manuel Mondragón, Secretary of Public Security of the Federal District, and engineer Samuel Ordaz, director of Giprex, among other guests, the event was inaugurated that provides multiple benefits for attendees on this special occasion. They also highlighted the good influx of actors in the sector, taking into account the present of Mexico in the issue of security and the recent financial crisis that affected all markets.

Samuel Ordaz thanked the presence, among other companies, of the magazine VENTAS DE SEGURIDAD, official publication of the fair, and highlighted the innovation in what is called imex4, the integration of the four simultaneous fairs: Expo Seguridad, Mexico Safety Expo, Mexico Fire Expo and Facilities Mexico.
