      Details     24 April 2008          The two vendors have joined forces to offer the latest in FIPS 201 ID verification. The integration of Codebench software into Datastrip's DSV2 and TURBO® now enables PIVCheck Mobile and PIVCheck Plus Mobile systems to be provided for PIV, TWIC and FRAC user verification, and for registration in physical access control systems at military and government facilities. The PIVCheck Mobile offers hardware and software with connectivity to Ethernet, WiFi and GSM (optional) to validate PIN, certificates and biometric fingerprints in real time, performing Internet searches from the DSV2+TURBO. For its part, the PIVCheck Plus Mobile adds the ability to automatically register in compatible systems for physical access control. Also, the PIVCheck certificate manager revalidates certificates imported from cards periodically to ensure the continued validity of the certificate.
