The four-line display provides the necessary information and allows the user to interact with the printer, which will be available from 2011 in versions for single- or two-sided printing.

Security features include Magicard's patented HoloKote system, which adds a watermark to the card during the normal print cycle using existing consumables.

The Rio Pro allows you to use a logo or custom design as a watermark thanks to an RFID card connected to the printer. Secure encryption options include magnetic stripe, proximity, and smart card.
