The rack supports a maximum of three transferable and hot-swappable cards. The Axis video server rack solution offers improved maintenance and seamless replacement or expansion of drives – just add more cards. There is no need to disable power when installing or changing cards. The rack features I/O and serial communication connectors on the back of each slot and a single network connection along with integrated power for easy installation.

This product is designed for applications that can be expanded, not only by adding more channels, but also by using different types of cameras. This is ideal for airports, hotels and railway stations or other facilities where analogue cameras are already installed.
