![](https://www.ventasdeseguridad.com/images/stories/VDS/users/vgalvis/d-link_web.jpg)D-Link has introduced its WiFi Mesh Hybrid PLC Powerline (COVr-P2502) system, the first solution to coverage problems that employs Powerline PLC technology instead of the WiFi extenders on which most WiFi Mesh solutions are based.

In this way, the system avoids the limitations of the WiFi signal in the face of obstacles such as ceilings or walls, since the Internet connection and data are used by the electrical network to guarantee maximum performance.

The Powerline protocol is PLC AV2 1300 Mbps, while the two adapters act as access points with WiFi AC 1200 Dual Band 2.4/5GHz with MultiUser MIMO and Smart Steering. In addition, both adapters feature three Gigabit LAN ports for connecting wired devices.

Installation is simple and the entire Mesh WiFi system is controlled by the free D-Link WiFi app, available for iOS and Android.
