The FLEX Switch was designed to help customers transform existing 2- or 4-pair UTP infrastructures into IP networks that are powered and provide connectivity to IoT endpoint devices and to meet long-range requirements in new buildings.

It transmits high-speed Ethernet and UPoE (50 watts) over the aforementioned infrastructure with a range of 1,640 feet (500m) and can be employed for all IP endpoint devices that require high-speed, high-power Ethernet connectivity.

On the other hand, the FLEX Link adapter is an Ethernet extender that works with high-speed Ethernet and UPoE (50 watts) over a 2- or 4-pair UTP infrastructure with a range of 1,640 feet (500m) and can be employed for all IP endpoint devices that require high-speed, high-power Ethernet connectivity. The FLEX Link can be powered locally to provide greater power to the end device.
